Be the missing piece!

This site has been created by a mother of a son with autism. Each year my son's birthday would come and go and while we would always have a cake, gifts and a few family members there to celebrate it. There were no friends, no kids to play games with, laugh with, take pictures with, build memories with. Each year my heart would ache that I cold not give my son a "kid party" Classmates of his would have birthday parties every year but my son would never get an invite. Nicholas is non-verbal but understands what is said to him. He always tries to be around other children and do the things they are doing. But there he is, just kind of on the sidelines watching....

Recently a mother on facebook created a page for her son Colin who's 11th birthday was coming up (March 9) she wanted people to show Colin that they cared by wishing him a Happy Birthday as he has social deficits due to disabilites and said no one cared about his birthday and he has no friends. Her little page quickly went viral with over 2 million likes and celebrity attention. While this is wonderful for Colin and his mom I kept thinking but what about Nicholas and all the other kids out there like him? That brought me to this project. So with help from all of you, we will hopefully go viral and hopefully give many many children at least one birthday to remember!
